GROWING UP IMMERSED IN THE LOS ANGELES PUNK SCENE, SEAN SOLYMAR KNEW HE WANTED A CAREER IN MUSIC SINCE HE WAS YOUNG. AN ENGINEER, MIXER AND PRODUCER, SEAN FOCUSED FROM THE OUTSET ON BUILDING FOUNDATIONS THAT WOULD EMPOWER HIM TO FORGE A CAREER AS A WELL-ROUNDED PRODUCER. THAT MENTALITY PROMPTED SOLYMAR TO LEARN THE UNDER-APPRECIATED ART OF STUDIO WIRING, WHICH EVENTUALLY LED HIM TO MIKE DEAN. WHAT STARTED AS A FEW DAYS’ TRIP TO HELP DEAN WIRE UP THE STUDIOS FOR KANYE WEST’S WYOMING SESSIONS LED TO SOLYMAR’S FIRST STINT IN THE MAIN CHAIR. THAT EXPERIENCE HAPPENED TO INCLUDE RECORDING A WHOLE ALBUM WITH NAS, AS WELL AS 070 SHAKE’S CAREER-MAKING MOMENT ON WEST’S “GHOST TOWN.” SEAN PARLAYED THAT INTO A ROLE DOING SHAKE’S LIVE SOUND, AND EVENTUALLY WORKING WITH NUMEROUS ICONIC ARTISTS SUCH AS TEYANA TAYLOR, MADONNA AND TRAVIS SCOTT. HE HAS RECENTLY WON A GRAMMY FOR HIS CONTRIBUTIONS TO KANYE WEST'S "JAIL" FROM DONDA.
